“A Taste of Black History” will be held at New Light CME Church, on Sat., Feb. 20, from 6 – 8 p.m. There will be door prizes and the attire will be African or 19th Century. Speakers for the program include: Ruth Collins, First Lady of North Main Church of God in Christ, Houston, Texas. Pastor: Rev. Marilyn Briggs, Presiding Elder: Rev. Donald L. White Sr., Presiding Bishop: The RT. Rev. Henry Williamson and the Black History Committee.
