    HOPE – A Blevins man was arrested on a rape charge Monday.
    Hempstead County Sheriff James Singleton confirmed that Robert James Jordan, 40, was arrested this week on the felony allegation.
    Singleton said the sheriff’s office “received a complaint from a family member that Jordan had sexually abused her from the time she was 13 years old until she turned 17. Jordan, age 40, was arrested on one count of Rape a class Y felony and transported to the Hempstead County Detention Center to await a first court appearance.”
