NASHVILLE – A Hope man was arrested after an undercover operation.
Nashville Assistant Police Chief Amy Marion confirmed that Robert Cody Collins, 31, was arrested on Feb. 3 by officers with the Nashville Police Department.
“This arrest stems from an undercover operation in which Collins delivered Hydrocodone pills to a prearranged location,” Marion stated via press release. Collins was stopped shortly after the delivery by NPD officers Aaron Quick, Chris Gates, and Wayne Epperly. “At the time of the stop, Collins was found to be in possession of suspected Hydrocodone and Alprazolam. A 2002 Chevrolet Suburban that Collins was driving was also seized during the stop.” Circuit Judge Tom Cooper set his bond at at $25,000.
Collins is charged with Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone) Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance (Alprazolam) and distribution near certain facilities, Marion added.
