treeceJ.R. Treece, age 73 of Nashville, Arkansas, went home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 15, 2016 in Nashville. He was born April 16, 1942 in Mandeville, Arkansas. He was a retired Master Oiler at Domtar in Ashdown. He was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Dad had several special interests: fishing, hunting, and drinking a beer with the guys. He loved the Razorbacks and was an avid Cowboys fan (even when they were losing). He raced dwarf cars and his was Yosemite Sam. He loved his entire family and they always came first in his life. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include his best friend and the love of his life, Rita Evans Treece of Nashville; sons, Colton High, Cody Campbell, Cason Jones, Chris Flowers, Hugh, Ron and Skip Evans, (Yes these are actually his nephews and grandsons), but dad actually raised these boys into fine young men. He loved them as his sons and busted their backsides when needed; daughters, Tammy Treece Rosales and husband, Louis Rosales, Jr., Tina Treece-Flowers and Curtis Argo; brother, Dennis Treece and wife, Jeannie, Charles and Kathy Stephens, (actually nephew, but more like a brother); great grandchildren, Caine, Piper, Rhett, Laney, Pace, Jaidin, Journei, Harlow, Saylor, Fitz, Gracie; close friends, Scott and Shelia Hicks, Deb, Drake and Gracie; and kin, Donnie and Ann Maguire, Johnny and Robbie Harris, Robin, Taylor and Matt Treece, Will, Linde, Skylar, and Emory Huddleston; as well as a large host of other family and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Nashville Funeral Home with Randy Hughes and Keith Mays officiating. You may send the family an online sympathy message to http://www.nashvillefh.com/
