NASHVILLE – A local man was arrested for allegedly pulling a gun from his pocket and pointing it at someone.
According to Nashville Investigator Larry Marion, “on Jan. 8, at approximately 3:53 p.m., Nashville Officers were dispatched to 416 N. 3rd St. regarding someone pointing a gun at another person. When officers arrived they identified Brian Trotter and Jimmie Weeks as being the people involved in the incident.”
Marion continued, “during the investigation, Weeks stated that he was standing in front of his residence and heard a vehicle coming down the street at a high rate of speed. Weeks began flagging the vehicle down. The vehicle stopped and Trotter was the driver. Weeks began yelling at Trotter about speeding down the street.
The two individuals began cursing at each other, and Weeks allegedly pulled a gun from his pocket and pointed it at Trotter. Weeks, 59, of Nashville, was arrested for aggravated assault and his bond was set at $10,000.
