Ladies Night Out set for Jan. 25

The annual “Ladies’ Night Out” will be held Mon., Jan. 25, at the First Baptist Church in Dierks. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. The guest speaker this year is Dianne Swaim from North Little Rock. Swaim has been speaking on Single Adult and Women’s issues since 1983. She serves as a Chaplain for the Veterans Administration hospitals in Little Rock and North Little Rock. She has a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Ft. Worth and has completed the two-year Spiritual Formation program at the Transforming Center in Chicago under director, Ruth Haley Barton. Dianne is author of the book, “Divorce Hurts Even at Church” which was published in 2005.
This will be the fourth ‘Ladies’ Night Out” planned and directed by Anna Blase at the Dierks church. Over 200 women attend each year. The theme this year is “There Is A Song In My Heart For Jesus.”
