Kermit Jamison, age 94 of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in Nashville. He was born March 22, 1921 in Nashville to the late H.A and Mattie Jewell Shofner Jamison. He was a retired school teacher and farmer. Mr. Jamison was an Army veteran of WWII and was known throughout the area as an avid gardener. He dearly loved raising plants. Preceding him in death was his wife Ola Mae Jamison; two brothers, James Jamison and H.L. Jamison. His survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Gary and Stacy Jamison of Nashville; two brothers, Val Jamison of Nashville and Lecil Jamison of Nashville; one sister, Delois White of Dallas, Texas; one granddaughter, Codie Grace Jamison of Nashville; and a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be Friday January 8, 2016 at 10:00 am at Corinth Cemetery north of Nashville with Philip Turner officiating.
