Ethan Kuntz, 16 of Nashville, attended the American Idol open call auditions for the farewell
season back in August at Verizon Arena and his story will air on Thurs., Jan. 14 on Fox,
according to his mother, Michale Kuntz. “We can’t say a lot about the details of audition due
to a contract with Fox,” she added.
Ethan has been playing music with the Spa City Youngbloods for a year and he is the lead
guitarist/singer for the blues band made up of all youth. The band will be attending the
International Blues challenge on Jan. 29 in Memphis for a youth showcase.
She said that Ethan “loves the blues genre and studies the greats like Stevie Ray Vaughn, BB
King and Allman brothers.”
