The Murfreesboro PTO will host its First Annual Chili Cook Off Saturday, December 5 on the Square in Murfreesboro. Contact Brittany at 870-925-1386 for participation information. The cook off is open to any group or individual.
Chili from the cook off will be served from noon-4 p.m. Samples will be $2 and bowls will be $4. Drinks will be sold separately.
The PTO will also be holding its first ever Ugly Christmas Sweater contest that day as well. First, second and third prizes will be awarded in an adult division and in a kids division. Judging will be at noon.
The PTO is also selling Rattler Christmas ornaments. The shatter-proof ornaments are $6 a piece and are a translucent red color. Contact Brittany 870-925-1386 to order.
