All is quiet in the Cliffs
this week. There have
been no emergencies
this week and our sick
list is beginning to be a
recovery list. However;
prayer is still requested
for full recovery.
Lela James was in church on Sunday. Waymon
Graves is in re-hab, and I am feeling better.
MD. Deloney’s friend, Roy Tinsely is still doing well
in the nursing facility. A visit from friends and loved
ones would cheer him up. Being away from home can
be a lonely place, when you are used to a full active life.
Let’s just remember everyone in prayer, peace and joy.
Christmas is right upon us and 2015 is on it’s way
out. This is a time when some of us evaluate ourselves
as to the choices we have been making in our lives.
We make resolutions to do better next year, God giving
Grace, and move on to do great and better things with
our lives. I hope we will all find our place and make our
homes, communities and surrounding areas a better
place to live.
CHRISTIAN REFRESHER; MATTHEW 2; 1-5, KJV
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judae’a
in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise
men from the east to Jerusalem,
Saying, where is he that is born King of the Jews?
For we have seen the star in the east, and are come
to worship him.
When Herod the king had heard these things, he
was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
And when he had gathered all the chief priests and
scribes of the people together, he demanded of them
where Christ should be born.
And they said unto him, in Bethlehem of Judae’a:
for thus it is written by the prophet.
