Mount Zion Church will
have regular worship service
on Sun., Nov. 22 at
11:00 am. Mount Zion is
one of the oldest churches
in the county that’s still
providing spiritual service
to the community. We are
proud to continue this
service after 136 years.
There has never been a
time in my lifetime that
the House Of God has ever
been so needed. However;
there has always been a
need, but now times are so
uncertain with the fear of
the enemies attack on the
people. I supposed people
cared more for each
other then. Together we
can make a change in our
Country and the utmost
parts of the world. The
church has the responsibility
to spread the gospel
throughout the World.
Won’t you join me in daily
prayer for the WORLD?
Thank you.
Prayers are requested
for our neighbors; Mike
Boles, recovering from a
short hospital stay. Letha
Wilson, recovering at
home and Lela James in
the nursing facility, Arthur
Bruce, hospital.
The hunting season is
attracting a lot of hunters
in this area. I can hear
them riding on the four
wheeler all around. I have
not heard if anyone has
had any success. My niece
Janie likes to hunt, hoping
to out do the men.
Thanksgiving will be
next week. Many families
will be getting together to
celebrate the Blessings of
God. Sharing is a big part
of the Holiday as I see it.
So, let’s share with someone
if possible. I am expecting
my grandchildren
from Chicago to come and
bless me. I get to enjoy my
Great grands. The day after
Thanksgiving we usually
get started putting up the
Christmas decorations.
