Restaurants in the community will be participating in “Stick a Fork in Cancer” Tri-County Relay for Life on the evenings of Monday, November 9 through Friday, November 13. A portion of the meal check will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Establishments participating are: The Rattler’s Den (Murfreesboro) on Monday, November 9; Shack Attack Pizza (Mount Ida) on Monday, November 9; Pizza Shack (Glenwood) on Wednesday, November 11; Pizza Inn (Glenwood) on Friday, November 13; and Sweet Pea’s (Kirby) on Friday, November 13.
McCarter Mart in Norman will be selling paper birthday cupcakes “In Honor” or “In Memory” of a loved one with cancer. The cupcakes will be displayed around the store.
