Farmers and ranchers who use restricted use pesticides in their production must be licensed by the State Plant Board. To become licensed, agriculture producers must attend training conducted by the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service. This training must be completed every five years.
One training meeting in will be held in Pike County. The training will be conducted on Monday, November 30 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Murfreesboro Municipal Office Building, at 204 E. Main Street, Murfreesboro, AR.
A $10 registration fee will be charged for the training. A check for this fee will need to be made to the Pike County Cooperative Extension Service. No pre-registration is needed.
