Family Dollar, located at 1401 S 4th Street in Nashville, has announced the store’s closing. Despite Family Dollar’s recent growth, the company announced earlier this year it would be closing some 400 stores nationwide, reduce its workforce, and, like many of its customers, look for other ways to save, according to a pervious company press release. Family Dollar completed the purchase of Dollar Tree in July of this year, with the latter having opened a business here in August.
