The Howard County Children’s
Center announces the
Grand Opening and Ribbon
Cutting of their new venture
Recycled Treasures Thrift
Store Monday, November 16
at 10 a.m.
The store is located at
521 North Main Street in
Nashville and will be open
Monday through Friday from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday
from 8 a.m.-noon.
“Our Thrift Store will
provide a new outlet for
the recycling and reuse of
used clothing, etc while encouraging
sustainable living,
the reduction of waste to
the landfill and the building
of community” said Rose
Ray, Assistant Director. “We
would like to thank all of our
surrounding communities for
their generous donations of
items since August 3. We
have recycle bins for clothing
in Dierks and Murfreesboro.
A special thanks to Mayors
Terry Mounts and Rodney
Fagan for allowing us to place
our bins in their city. Nashville
residents are donating
their clothes on a daily basis
along with Mineral Springs
and McCaskill.
“We are asking the public
to please continue to donate
your items of clothing, shoes,
purses, belts, homegoods
to our center. We have a
convenient drop off center
at the rear of the Howard
County Children’s Center. If
you need assistance, please
ring the bell and staff will help
you unload your donations.
Tax Exempt Receipts given
upon request. If you have
a large load, we can pick up
your items,” said Ray.
