Herndon, Andrea PicAndrea Ann Herndon, 72, of Nashville, Arkansas, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 14, 2015. She was born on November 12, 1943, in Texarkana, Arkansas to the late Otto and Glycine (Powell) Miller. Andrea was a light in this world and is loved by so many. Andrea has always had family in the Nashville, Arkansas area. She and her husband, Jerry, moved to Nashville in 1971 where she was an active member in the First United Methodist Church, Operation Christmas Child, Howard County Charitable Medical Clinic and the community. She is survived by her husband, Jerry R. Herndon. He was her love; they were married for 46 years. She is also survived by a daughter, Brooke B. Redfern and her husband, John M.Redfern of Fayetteville; a son, G. Grant Herndon, of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Miller Redfern, Anna Herndon, Avery Redfern and Kate Herndon, all of Fayetteville; and a number of loving cousins and friends. Family visitation will take place at Nashville Funeral Home in Nashville on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at First United Methodist Church of Nashville at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2015. Pastors Calvin Parker and Skip Basham will officiate. The family will be traveling to and from Fayetteville and surrounding areas for the service, so it will be difficult to accommodate floral arrangements.
