J.D. Setliff found $37 in
silver Wednesday morning
which had been burned in
the stove in the office of G.W.
Morris. $25.00 had not been
melted and were in fairly good
condition, but twelve of them
had melted and run together
so tight that they could not be
separated. The money was
found in the street where Mr.
Morris had thrown the ashes
from his stove. Mr. Morris
placed the money in his stove
for safe keeping one day last
summer when he went to
leave the office for a few minutes
and forgot all about it,
and when he made a fire in the
stove a few mornings ago the
money was burned.
(Adv.) 100 teams to work
