Winnie Marshall of Nashville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 in Nashville. She was born to Miller and Lou Etta Porter Armstrong on April 27, 1931, the youngest of six children. Winnie was a loving mother, and the wife of over 64 years to the late James Edward Marshall. She was a faithful member of Dodson Street Church of Christ and worked in various businesses during her life, most recently operating a family home day care of which she was very proud. She leaves to cherish her memory; one daughter, Gwendolyn (Phillip) Jones of Nashville, and their five children, Shenese (Darius) Brimley, Phylesha Jones, Brittney Marshall, Bernard (Tiffany) Jones, and Christopher Jones; three sons, Travis (Deborah) Marshall of Nashville, and five grandchildren, Corey Livingston, Daryl Benson, Tremaine (Wykesha) Pryor, Tenia Marshall, and Trais Marshall of Nashville, Tandell Marshall of Nashville and his son, Tramelle White, Troace Marshall of Nashville and his two children, Tova Marshall and Mia Stewart; 14 Great Grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Ruthie Inell Hill of Nashville; a special family friend, Hope Stewart, and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by both parents; Miller and Lou Etta Porter Armstrong, three sisters; Irene Briggs, Clora Bell Young and Nora Young, and two brothers; James Armstrong and I.V. Armstrong. Services will be Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00 am. at Nashville Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
