The death of a Nashville police officer’s wife has been ruled due to natural causes, a blood clot in her lung.

On Friday, Oct. 16, Haley Bree Quick, 28, was found at her home by her husband, Patrolman Aaron Quick, who had just gotten off duty. She pronounced dead at the residence by Hempstead County Coroner Ben Brazzel at 5:02 p.m.

Brazzel said he had been notified of the cause of death by the state medical examiner. He explained that because the death was unattended, it was routine for the body to be sent to the state medical lab for autopsy.

The woman was the wife of Nashville City Patrolman Aaron Quick, who discovered her after he got off duty, Friday. She was pregnant, and the couple was expecting their first child in January.

A ‘GoFundMe’ account has been set up on social media to help with funeral expenses.

A benefit account has been set up at First State Bank for the Quick family. For more information, contact the bank at (870) 451-9994.
