Mrs. Arry Francis Turner, age 99, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 29

IMG_0204Mrs. Arry Francis Turner, age 99 and 9 months, from Nashville, Arkansas, was born February 6, 1916 in the Buck Range community. She was born number 8 of 10 children to Thomas Ryle Roberts Hill and Lula Carolina Hill.
She went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 29, 2015 after a brief stay at Mine Creek Nursing.
Mrs. Turner was a homemaker, worked at Red River Arsenal and Cassidy Egg Farm. She loved cooking, sewing, gardening and loved to fellowship with others as a member of Midway Baptist Church. Her philosophy in life was to trust and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. She never knew a stranger. She loved to feed people and cook homemade biscuits. All were welcome at her table, and no one left hungry.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie T. Turner, two sons, Charles Don Turner and Sloan Turner. One daughter Lula Mae Head, her parents Thomas Ryle Roberts Hill and Lula Carolina Hill, four brothers, Jeff Davis Hill, William Henry Hill, Thomas Hayes Hill, James Fred Hill. Five sisters, Mary Nancy Hill, Mattie Mae Hill Hockaday, Lillie Cleo Hill Reed, Annie Laurie Hill, and Neoma Jo Hill Ferguson.
Mrs. Turner is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Kathy Turner of Wilton; seven grandchildren, Shelby Campbell and husband, Steve Campbell, Shannon Beck and husband, Bob Beck, Lee Head and wife, Susan Head, Eric Turner, Scott Turner, Lee Head, and Timothy Head; nine great grandchildren, Baily Campbell, Chloe Campbell, Sean Beck, Janis Bartel and husband, Clay Bartel, Sharon Richards, Colby Turner, Taylor Turner and Julianna Turner; one great-great grandchild, Skylar Richards; numerous nieces, nephews and precious friends, and one special friend, Casey Goodwin.
Services will be Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Midway Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Mays officiating. Interment will follow in County Line Cemetery under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
