Jimmie Neal Stewart, 76, died September 28


Jimmie Neal Stewart, 76, died September 28 at Christus St. Michael Hospital. Jimmie was born August 7, 1939 in Tollette, Arkansas to Jimmie and Louise Stewart. Jimmie was retired from Egg City in Hope and after retirement worked his later years at Cossatot Community College. Jimmie was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Jean Stewart which he loved dearly; two brothers James Stewart and Dorsey Stewart. Jimmie is survived by his children, Hope Stewart of Dallas and Jason Stewart and companion Taronequel Speech of Nashville; three grandchildren; two brothers, Critt Stewart (Elaine) of Tollette and Robert Stewart of Indianapolis, Indiana; four special Sister-In-Laws, Sandra Crofton, Ethel Whitmore, Lucille, Moore, and Louise Kelsaw; a special daughter, Megan Gentry; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday October 10, 2015 at the Howard County Senior Citizen Hospitality room. Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
