Corps of Engineers announce seasonal Lake Ouachita campsite closures

    corps campground closingsThe U.S. Corps of Engineers have announced seasonal closings for Lake Ouachita campsites which include sites at Joplin, Brady Mountain and Tompkins Bend.
    Other campgrounds will remain open, but with no services include: Cedar Fourche; Rabbit Tail; Buckville; Avant; Irons Fork; Washita; Little Fir and Big Fir.
    Campgrounds that will remain open with full services include: Stephens Park; Crystal Springs; Denby Point – Campsites 16-67 and Twin Creek.
    The closures began October 1 and will continue through the fall and winter season. These closures are for the U.S. Corps of Engineer sites only.
