MURFREESBORO–A Murfreesboro man was sentenced to six years with two years suspended in the Arkansas Department of Corrections in Pike County Circuit Court Monday.
Fifty-one-year-old Greg Wayne Myrick entered a guity plea to a charge of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.
Jail time credit was given to Myrick.

Claborn Kiel McWilliams entered a guilty plea to a charge of possession of a controlled substance-schedule II. He was fined and sentenced to drug court.
Courtney D. Davis entered a guilty plea to a charge of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and third degree domestic battery. She was sentenced to five years of probation and 120 days in the ACC. A charge of endangering the welfare of a minor was nolle prossed.
Andrew Carl Pipkins entered a not guilty plea during his formal arraignment of charges of residential burglary and theft of property. His pre-trial was set for Nov. 2.
William Rather entered a not guilty plea to a charge of failure to comply with registration requirements. His pre-trial will be Dec. 7.
Andrea Anderson entered a not guilty plea to a charge of filing a false report. She was given a pre-trial date of Feb. 1.
Colten Burk entered a not guilty plea to charges of failure to comply with registration requirements and possession of a firearm by a certain person. His pre-trial was set for Dec. 7.
April Treagear was charged with violation of the Arkansas hot check law. She will return Jan. 4 for pre-trial.
