Mrs. Patricia “Ms. Pat” Darlene Weeks Montanelli, age 66 a resident of Athens, Arkansas, died Sunday, October 4, 2015 at her home. She was born to Fred Frank Sr. and Wynona Lee Weeks in El Reno, Oklahoma, on June 19, 1949. She was a member of Athens Holiness Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher, she loved teaching her children at her preschool and enjoyed embroidering, traveling, reading and gardening and just absolutely loved children. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Michael Dale Weeks. She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Jack Lee Montanelli, Jr. of Westline, Arkansas and Richard Dale and Dawna Montanelli of Maud, Texas, two daughters and sons-in-laws, LaDonna and Donald J. Blake of Smithville, Oklahoma and Jennifer Gayle and Brian Yandell of Umpire, seven grandsons, Larry Holmes of Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Levi Holmes of Butler, Missouri., Brian Yandell and wife Raegan of Glenwood, Luke Holmes and wife Victoria of Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, North Carolina., Thomas Yandell and wife Virginia of Dierks, Ryan Montanelli of Maud, Texas., and Lane Holmes of Wilburton, Oklahoma, two granddaughters, Julianna Bell and husband Therrin of Ozark, Missouri., and Brianna Quinalty and husband Donovan of Seminole, Oklahoma, four great-grandsons, Kenny, Clay, Cody and Chantry two great-granddaughters, Abigail and Brailee, four brothers and sisters- in-law, Bob and Emma Weeks of Antlers Oklahoma, Frank and Jan Weeks of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Bill and Judy Weeks of De Queen, and Daniel and Lory Weeks of Ringold, Oklahoma, two sisters, and brothers-in-law Virginia “Ms. Jen” and Jim Arnold of De Queen, and Ruth and Danny Harper of Alma, she also has a number of nieces and nephews and other family members and many many friends, she was also a host mother to five exchange students, Jessica Zeng of China, Jenny Lim of South Korea, Eunice Wong of Hong Kong, Grayce Yu of Taiwan and Milly Suanburi of Tailand. Funeral services for Pat will be held at 2:00P.M. Friday, October 9th in the Athens Holiness Church with burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery with Bro. Olin Vaughn, Bro. Bill Weeks and Bro. Bob Weeks officiating under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen, Arkansas Visitation will be held Thursday, October 8th from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Chandler Funeral Home.
