Howard County Fair to feature arts & crafts show

For the first time, an arts and crafts show will be a part of the annual Howard County Fair.

The show will be Friday and Saturday, Sept. 11-12 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

There will be a daily fee of $25 for outside booth space of 10×10. Electricity is available. Participants must furnish their own canopy and table.

Talent show

The Howard County Fair Youth Talent competition will be at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the BNashville Elementary School Cafetorium.

Youths who wish to compete should return a completed entry form along with a $10 entry fee before 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28. Entry forms are available at “The Leader,” the chamber of commerce office, high school office, Power Pharmacy, Extension office, all in Nashville, or Dr. Robert Gunter’s office in Dierks.

There are four age divisions ranging from Primary, 3-6 years, to Senior, 16-20 years.
