Chances are now being sold on a special pink quilt which will benefit the Louie Graves/Nashville Leader cancer patient transportation gasoline voucher program.

The quilt, featuring the words “Hope, Faith, Love” and hand-crafted in vibrant pink by an anonymous donor, will be given away the week of Thanksgiving.

Chances are 1 for $1, 6 for $5 or 12 for $10 and can be purchased at The Nashville Leader newspaper office, located at 119 North Main in Nashville.

Louie Graves started the voucher program in 2007, soon after his wife, Jane, succumbed to cancer. Since then, more than $38,000 has been distributed to cancer patients or their caregivers to help with transportation expenses due to doctor appointments, chemo/radiation, blood transfusions, etc.

The vouchers are good for $20 worth of gas from Road Mart in Nashville, and includes a free soft drink for the road trip.

For more information, call The Nashville Leader office at 870.845.0600.
