Montgomery County 4-H members participated in the Ouachita District 4-H O’Rama at Gurdon High School on June 16th.  The eleven Montgomery County 4-H members who competed are: Seniors: Kaitlin Carmack, Bait Casting & Game Fish Identification-5th place; Breanna Lewis, Health-2nd place; Colton Lewis, Gun Safety, BB Gun Marksmanship-4th place; Callie Monk, Safety-2nd place; Bailey Nash, Performing Arts-Vocal-6th place; Juniors: Amy Efird, Gun Safety, BB Gun Marksmanship-1st place; Mikayla Ellison, Food Fair-3rd place; Lucas Hawthorn, Bait Casting & Game Fish Identification-8th place; Rebeka Lewis, Health-6th place; Jakob Myers, Wildlife-7th place; and Dakota Rae, Bicycle-3rd place.
Montgomery County 4-H members recognized as 2015 Ouachita District Record Book Winners were: Beginners-Rebeka Lewis, Health & Fitness; Jakob Myers, Food & Nutrition/Food Preparation ; Intermediate-Breanna Lewis, Food & Nutrition/Food Preparation.
