Opal Cogburn from St. Helens, Oregon (Formerly from Caddo Gap/Fancy Hill area) gained her angel wings on July 2, 2015 at 11:31 p.m.
She was born on April 13,1924 to the late Joe Clark and Eula “McNeeley” Clark in Mena, Arkansas.
She is proceeded in death by: her parents, husband Walter “Melvin” Cogburn, two sons; Johnny Lee Fish “Brud” and Jerry Dale Fish “Babe”, one granddaughter Shannon Lynn Fish, one brother LeeRoy Clark, and two sisters Bonnie Estes and Faye Mills “Daughter” and one son-in-law Wayne Hawkins.
She is survived by: her sister Alamae Cogburn from Arkansas, her daughter Wanda Hawkins “Sis” from Oregon, her son Rick Cogburn from Oregon.
Five grandchildren: Kent and Michelle Hawkins from Washington, Rob Hawkins from Montana, Donna and Marlin Ward from Washington, Steve and Shannon Hawkins from Oregon, and Mindy and Raymond Griffith from Oregon.
Eight great-grandchildren: Samantha Ward from Washington, Justine Ward from Washington, Ashley Hawkins from Oregon, Jim Hawkins from New York, Wayne Hawkins from Oregon, Shawn Hawkins from Oregon, Blake Hawkins from Oregon and Candice Griffith from Oregon
Services will be held graveside at the Bethany Memorial Cemetery on July 15,2015 at 1:00pm.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff from the Hopewell House in Portland, Oregon and all family and friends near and far.
