Brooke Chasity Stuart, age 21 of Texarkana, Texas, passed away, Monday, July 13, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. She was born June 10, 1994 in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Brooke graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana and attended the University of Central Arkansas. Brooke loved going to the beach, traveling, swimming with dolphins, listening to a variety of music and playing the piano. She was a member of her high school varsity tennis team. She performed volunteer work with Samaritan Charities, the YMCA and Vacation Bible School. Brooke’s nickname was “Sparkles” as she loved shiny, sparkly things especially her clothes and in her words, she loved “blingy things”. Brooke also loved children and working with them, and her cat, Cupcake, which often can be seen with pink lipstick kisses on the top of her head from Brooke. Her survivors include her mother Cheri Stuart of Texarkana, Texas; grandparents, Jack and Jean Stuart of Nashville, Arkansas; grandmother; Hilda Owens of North Carolina, and a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 am. at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Al Terrell officiating.
