Crenor Brunelle Hale Yeager, 95, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015. She was born on June 30, 1919 in Nashville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Andrew Wilson Hale and Elsa Atkinson Hale. Crenor graduated from Texas State College for Women (now Texas Women’s University) in Denton, TX, and taught school in Bauxite, Arkansas, where she met and married George. Mrs. Yeager was preceded in death by her husband, George Glenn Yeager; and her sisters, Samuella Wesson and Elizabeth Reaves.
Survivors include a daughter, Dr. Caroline Yeager (Mrs. Bill Singer) of Indio, California; three sons, Harris Hale Yeager of Broomfield, Colorado, Floyd Hale Yeager of Gretna, Louisiana and Daniel Hale Yeager of Rossville, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Nashville Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
