Central Arkansas Development Council will distribute USDA commodities July 21-22 in Pike and Montgomery Counties.
The food items to be distributed may include cranberry sauce, vegetable soup, spaghetti sauce, potato flakes, vegetarian beans, peanut butter and kosher pink salmon
Pike County’s distributions will take place from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and Noon to 3 p.m. at the CADC Glenwood Senior Activity Center at 229 Betty St. and from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 3 p.m. at the CADC Murfreesboro Senior Activity Center at 120 E. Court St., Ste. A.
Montgomery County’s distribution will take place from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 3 p.m. at the CADC Mt. Ida Senior Activity Center at 158 Senior Dr.
All customers receiving commodities must present identification. To be eligible, income guidelines must be met. Income guidelines for this program are based on 130% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Based on these guidelines, a one-person household must make less than $15,301 per year to qualify for this program. For each additional family member, add $5,408.
