Nathan (Nate) Victor Bates age 31 went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 31, 2015.
He was born February 4, 1984 in Mena Arkansas. Nate was loved by so many, he was a loving husband, son, brother, nephew, and friend. Nate was a bright star among us taken too soon. He had a passion for music and a talent for guitar that nobody could hold a candle to. He was a very compassionate and loving man who would drop anything to help anyone. He was great at everything he attempted to do. His life will never be forgotten, his soul will live on through his wife, family, and friends. Until we meet again.
He was survived by his loving wife and soul mate Lea Kay Isabella Bates; their fur babies, his mother, Marilyn Kay; Shields, stepfather, Jimmy Shields, grandfather, Jack Allen; brother, Zach Bates, nieces, Kailey Faith Wade, Abbigale Augustine Cook, and Zoey Jule Bates, sister in law, Amanda Bates, sister, Alanah Allen; aunt, Barbara Allen; uncle Doug Allen, father in law, Dale Sedbrook; mother in law, Julia Sedbrook; brother in law, Jordan Cardwell; niece, Candace Cardwell, and so, so many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Julia Jeanne Allen, and our two sweet babies that never made it to this world. He was a truly unique individual that will never be forgotten for he was loved by so many. He will always be in our thoughts and hearts.
A memorial service was held at Friday, June 5, 2015 at 2:00 P.M.at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mena with cremation services entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
