NASHVILLE – A well-known and respected area physician died Saturday at the age of 69.
Dr. Hasmukh M. Patel, who had been a doctor of internal medicine in the Nashville area for over 20 years, leaves behind his mother, Ruxmariber, two sons, Dhaval and Naval, and a host of grandchildren and assorted other family and friends.
Patel began working at Howard Memorial Hospital in 1993 and won the facility’s “doctor of the year” award in 2013.
Services will be held Tues., June 9 at Nashville Funeral Home beginning at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow the service in Bossier City, Louisiana, according to Patel’s obituary.
