Burrow papersBennie Burrow, age 92, of Alamo, died Thursday, May 28, 2015.
He was born on December 25, 1922 at Alamo, the son of McKinzie Burrow and Francis McGaughey Burrow.  On December 2, 1951, he was married to Marjorie Yeargan Burrow who preceded him in death on March 11, 2001.  He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jami Shelton; his sister, Minerva Milholen; and his brother, Clarence Burrow.
A member of the Alamo Missionary Baptist Church, he was a lifetime small farmer, construction worker and timber worker.
He is survived by five children and their spouses, Donnie and Minerva Burrow of Norman, Janet and Gary Fox of Mount Ida, Jennifer and Jerry Shelton of Mount Ida, Wendell and Linda Burrow of Alamo and Kimberly and Scott Myers of Maumelle; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, May 31, 2015, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Bruce Tidwell officiating.
Visitation was held Sunday, 2:00 PM until service time, at the funeral home.
Interment was in Peak Cemetery.
Pallbearers was Travis Milholen, Leithon Milholen, Tim Efird, Mike Grisham, Steve Robbins and Vernie Harris.
Honorary pallbearers was Silas Godwin, Otis Burnette, Travis Cogburn, the staff of Arkansas Hospice and residential caregivers.
