A Glenwood man was sentenced Monday to a total of 17 years in the state prison after he plead guilty to the second-degree sexual assault of a small child.
Charles Wayne Baugher Sr., 63, was arrested on Feb. 2 for the sexual assault of a four-year-old female. He was sentenced in Pike County Circuit Court to 20 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction with three years suspended. He must also register as a sex offender upon his release.
When authorities interviewed Baugher at the time of his arrest, he admitted to the assault and also revealed he had been accused of a similar crime by the young daughter of a woman with whom he once lived.
Also Monday, Gerald McKinnon Jr., 59, of Delight, plead guilty to the charge of maintaining drug premises. He was sentenced to three years in the ADC, a sentence that will run concurrently with a parole violation.
Katherine Renaee Tribble, 21, of Murfreesboro, also plead guilty Monday to the charge of failure to comply with registration and reporting requirements of being a sex offender. She was sentenced to three years in the ADC with two years suspended.
Dalton R. Jordan, 23, of Nashville, plead guilty in Pike County to a parole violation. He was sentenced to one year in Arkansas Community Correction facility and will also remain on probation.
Timothy C. Cales, 33, of Hot Springs, plead guilty to the charges of possession of methamphetamine and marijuana with purpose to deliver. He was sentenced to 10 years in the ADC with two years suspended.
