Pike County Clerk Sandy Campbell announced deadlines for the 2015 Pike County School Elections Tuesday.
The first day to circulate petitions to run for any school board position is June 7. The first day to file petitions with the County Clerk is June 30 and the last day to file petitions is July 7 at 12 p.m.
Petitions may be picked up at your school administration office or at the County Clerk’s office.
The following positions are up for election: Centerpoint School District, Zone 2, five year term; Zone 4 to complete the term which ends in 2018; Kirby School District Position 1 and Position 2, three year terms; South Pike County District, Zone 3, 5 year term.
August 17 will be the last day to register to vote to be eligible to vote in this election. September 11 is the last date to transfer your voter registration from another county to be eligible to vote.
