steuart, jamesJames Marcus Steuart, 93 of Nashville, AR, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Nashville. Mr. Steuart was born on April 1, 1922 in Highland, Arkansas; the son of the late Thomas Wisdom Steuart and Ella (Gosnell) Steuart. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Nashville and the Josh Nichols Sunday School Class. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. After graduating from mortuary school in California, he was owner and operator of two successful businesses in Arlington, Texas and Murfreesboro, Arkansas. After selling these two businesses, he was employed by American Airlines of Dallas where he retired after 23 years of service. Mr. Steuart was an avid gardner and golfer. Survivors include: his wife of 69 years, Evelyn K. Steuart of Nashville; 11 nephews and nieces, Homer Dale Evans, Bob Lewis, Freela Hudson, Candy Hyde, Charlotte Bell, Thomas Steuart, Jennifer Kirk, Bobby Keaster, Billy Keaster, Tammy Young, and Alicia Patrick. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Nashville with Brother David Blase officiating. Burial to follow in Restland Memorial Park in Nashville under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
