Public NoticesBONNERDALE DUES
Bonnerdale VFD is now accepting 2015 annual membership dues in the amount of $50.00. They may be mailed to P.O. Box 9, Bonnerdale 71933 or dropped in the firehouse drop box.

AA MEETING FOR WOMEN
A Women Only Alcoholics Anonymous meeting will be held every Mon. at 7:00 p.m. in the Norman Firehouse building. Questions, call 356-4910.

GLENWOOD LIONS CLUB
Attention all members of the Glenwood Lions Club or potential members, we will now meet on the second Monday of the month at 6 p.m., at Subway in a private back room. Join us in discussing our scholarships, coloring book projects and our flag program.

CHAMBER DUES DUE
The Glenwood Regional Chamber of Commerce 2015 membership dues are being collected. For potential members – the cost is determined by the number of employees, and has the monetary scale on the form. HOPPER CEMETERY
Work day – May 2, 2015 at 8 a.m., weather permitting. Our Decoration Day is Mother’s Day, May 10th. Please send your contributions to the Hopper Cemetery Fund. BARK FOR LIFE
Bark For Life is rescheduled When: May 23, 2015 at 9:45 AM, Where: Glenwood City Park,  Who: Any dog (and their human) who would love to help fight cancer! How much: $10 per dog to be in the dog show and  walk, free for their humans. Schedule: 9:45-10:15 –Registration 10:15-10:45 – Dog Walk and Judging 10:45-11:00 – Awards 11:00-11:15 – Parade of Winners 11:15-12:00 – Lunch Free dog swag bags to first 20 dogs registered. You may preregister by picking up a form at the Bainum Library, request one in the mail by calling Beth Nolen at (870) 828-0905, or request one through email by emailing Beth Nolen at nolen.elizabeth@yahoo.com . Pet portraits will be available upon request. For just $5, you can receive 3 portraits of your dog (with you or not). These will be digital files that will be emailed to you when ready.  Lunch is free, however, we will have a donation jug for donations. All proceeds will go to the ACS.

LODI FIRE DUES

BIDS
Bids are currently being accepted for the upkeep on the Mt. Tabor Cemetery and the Grant’s Chapel Cemetery.  Anyone interested in applying may call Darrell “Buster” Wright at 356-2090 or Karroll Morphew at 356-3731, and we will get the information and forms to you.  Deadline for bids is May 1, 2015.

Centerpoint Primary will be holding kindergarten registration on April 16. Registration will take place in the cafeteria from 2:00 – 6:00 pm

MT. GILEAD CHURCH

WEST CENTRAL RETIRED TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

GOSPEL SINGING
Alpine Cemetery Chapel will host a Gospel singing 2nd Sat, night at 6:00 p.m., April 11, 2015. Everyone invited.

DRIVER’S ED COURSE
Centerpoint High School will offer a driver’s education course this summer.  Classes will begin Thursday, June 4 and will conclude Friday, June 12.  Class time will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Driving hours will proceed throughout the summer. Students will need a Driver’s Manuel from the Revenue Office or from website for class.  Driving times will be scheduled throughout the summer according to the number of class participants.  To be eligible to participate, students must be at least 14 years of age, must have completed 8th grade, and must have a 2.0 GPA.  The cost is $100 per student.  There must be at least 12 students to have the class but limited to 24 students.  The first 24 students to sign up and pay registration fee ($100) will be enrolled.  Sign up and fee payments will be handled through the Superintendent’s office.  One-half credit will be awarded for successful completion of course.  Contact the Centerpoint High School office at 356-2912 for details.

2015 MONTGOMERY COUNTY FAIR SPRING FLING
Small Town Show Down & Montgomery County Fair Spring Fling. Sat., April 18th. Registration will be from 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Show starts at 10 a.m. The second show will follow 30 minutes after first. This will be at the Montgomery County fair Grounds in Mt. Ida, AR.

JR. PIKE CO. AUXILIARY
The Junior Auxiliary of Pike County is having a Spring Luncheon on Thursday, April 9th, from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the Murfreesboro Community Room, $5.00 Dine in or Take out.  Please join us to help raise money for our community programs.

JONES CEMETERY
Clean-Up Day for Jones Cemetery in Amity is Saturday, April 18th starting at 9:00 a.m. Please bring garden tool & trash bags.

NORMAN PUBLIC LIBRARY
Starting April 15,2015 The Norman Public Library will have new business hours. We will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1 to 4 each day. The Library has a wide variety of books for all ages. We have  two computers and printer for public use. I want to encourage everyone to come in and check us out. We look forward to seeing you at our Norman Library.
