Edwina (Edy) Romine, 77, Avid Scrapper Fan, April 1, 2015


ROMINEEdwina (Edy) Romine, 77, of Nashville Arkansas, passed away Wednesday April 1, 2015. She was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri December 18, 1937. She was the daughter of Roy and Velma (Nixon) Rowe. Edy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nashville, Arkansas. She enjoyed all Church activities and was a strong southern Christian Lady all of her life. Edy was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Jay Romine.
She is survived by her son Deriel Romine and his wife Joann of Washington and her daughter Lisa Romine of Conway; one sister Barbara Vance of Pearl, Mississippi and one brother Scott Rowe of St. Louis, Missouri; three granddaughters, Kristi Romine, Katrina (Romine) May and Kaylin Romine and three very special great grandchildren, Jay Tanner May, Jackson Cooper May and Aunna Lynn Romine. She especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and watching the Scrappers play whichever sport was in season. If she was not volunteering at the Hospital and working in the gift shop, she was hanging out with her very dear friends and playing cards. She was loved much and will be missed. Services will be Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Nashville. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
