NASHVILLE – The Arkansas Western Sizzlin Restaurants recently completed a promotion with their customers to benefit Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH).
Western Sizzlin is donating one dollar for every Ribeye steak sold throughout the month of March. On Wednesday, April 15, they will present ACH with a check for $5,600 as a result of that promotion.
“We are very happy to give back,” said Elgin Hamner – owner of the Western Sizzlin in Benton. “Our stores have been in Arkansas for many years and we all wanted to help kids through the great efforts afforded by ACH.”
Thanks to generous community support, ACH provides the specialized care kids need to grow and thrive. Kids like Josie, age four, who was born with congenital skeletal anomalies and other complex health challenges.
“Josie is remarkable,” said Dana – Josie’s mom. “She has overcome every challenge. When she grows up, she wants to be a doctor so she can help kids.”
“We are grateful for the support from Western Sizzlin,” said Enid Olvey, Director of Development of Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Philanthropic support helps us further the mission of ACH by making children better today and healthier tomorrow. Our corporate partners are vital to building our services for children, and we are grateful to each one for their unique contributions.”
