Rita M. (Luebker) Roller, age 77, of Hot Springs, died Monday, April 6, 2015
She was born on March 1, 1938 in Stuttgart, the daughter of Bernard Joseph Luebker and Mildred Zimmerman Luebker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William E. Roller; one sister, Theresa Schultz; and three grandsons, Corey Coffman, Cody Lee Kelley, and Charlie Roller.
Rita enjoyed spending her time quilting and sewing. One of her greatest passions was maintaining her flower beds and her garden. As a homemaker, she dressed her children with clothes that she made with her own hands. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her own, as well as anyone placed in her care.
She is survived by two sons and their spouses, Jim and Sherry Roller of Vilonia, and Ed and Jenny Roller of Morrilton; four daughters and spouses, Dana and Jon White of Glenwood, Donna Simpson of Hot Springs, Carmen and Sean Nichols of Hot Springs, and Hether and Russell Fryar of Rockwall, Texas; six brothers and spouses, William and Elaine Berg of Stuttgart, Robert and Nell Berg of Russellville, Carl Luebker of Stuttgart, Herman and Marty Luebker of Dover, Joe and Carol Luebker of Pine Bluff, and Tom and Jane Luebker of Spurgeon Bay, Wisconsin; five sisters, Margaret Ann Pitts of Stuttgart, Rozan McKinney of Searcy, Christina Yurkovich of Fairbanks, Alaska, Mary Grace Shelton of Cabot, and Mitz Kelly of London; fifteen grandchildren, Chad, Ashley, Meghan, Sonny, Cliff, Autumn, Lindsay, Jon, Justin, B.J., Lauren, Johnny, Molly, Nathan, and Zachary, three great-grandchildren, Harper, Wilson, and Anna; and one sister-in-law and her spouse, Rita Mary and Robert Jones of Alabama.
Services will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, April 9, 2015 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood with Bro. Keith Shewbart officiating.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
Pallbearers will be Sean Nichols, Russell Fryar, Jonathan White, Chase Pope, Johnny Adams, Aaron Hollingshead, Nathan Fryar and Zachary Fryar.
Honorary pallbearers will be the nursing staff of Quapaw Health and Rehabilitation and the hospice staff of Gentiva Hospice Care.
