ARKADELPHIA — The Office of University Relations/Admissions of Henderson State University announces Elizabeth O. Pittman has been awarded the Distinguished Freshmen Scholarship for 2015-2016.
A ccording to Vikita Bell Hardwrick, Henderson State University Admissions Director, the HSU Distinguished Freshmen Scholarship is equivalent to $7,250 a semester for up to four years.
Pittman is the daughter of Loyd and Angela Pittman and is currently a student at Centerpoint High School.

According to Hardwrick, the University Academic Scholarship is equivalent to $3,500 per semester for up to four years.
Miller is the daughter of Glenda Green and is currently a student at Centerpoint High School.

According to Hardwrick, the HSU Distinguished Freshmen Scholarship is equivalent to $7,250 a semester for up to four years.
Hill is the son of Henry and Rhonda Hill and is currently a student at Centerpoint High School.

Arkansas Tech University has named Daniel Erman Henthorn of Amity has received a Distinguished Scholars Award from ATU beginning in the fall 2015 semester.
The award has a value of of $4500 per semester for up to eight semesters or until the completion of an undergraduate degree, whichever comes first. The award requirements include being a graduating senior who has a minimum of a 26 ACT composite (or equivalent SAT) and 3.25 cumulative high school GPA.
Henthorn is the son of Greg and Kaye Henthorn and will major in Ag Business. He is currently a senior at Centerpoint High School and was named to the all-district football team in his junior and senior years.
