
Vonda Mae Hatch Brown, age 93 of Nashville, Ark., passed away on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, in Dierks. She was born on Sept. 10, 1932, in Highland, the daughter of Floyd Royston Hatch and Bessie Viola Young Hatch.
Mrs. Brown was a faithful member of the Corinth Church of Christ and later the Sunset Church of Christ. Her faith was evident through her willingness to teach bible classes and vacation bible school. She loved her family and cherished spending time with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Luther Junior Brown; her son, Tim Brown; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Robertson.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her two daughters and son-in-law, Brenda Brown, and Ruth Daugherty and Leon; her daughter-in-law, Debora Brown; her brother and sister-in-law, Donald Hatch and Juanita; her sister, Doris Robertson; four grandchildren, Lena (Eli) Brown VanCamp, Billy (Bethany) Daugherty, Thomas (Sarah) Brown, Tina (Michael) Daugherty Bunch; three great-grandchildren, Callan Daugherty, Byron Motta, and Darrel Motta; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025 at the Sunset church of Christ building.
A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the New Corinth Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
