Charles W. Bohannon of Nashville, Ark., went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 16, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Charles was born Sept. 28, 1964, in Nashville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Bohannon, his mother, Shirley Cowart Price, his step-father Johnny Price, his sister, Brenda Bohannon, and his special brother-in-law Billy McElyea.

Charles Wayne is survived by his daughter, Charlie Rae Brewer (Derek) of Nashville, his daughter, Wendy Kinkade (Justin) of Nashville, his daughter Misty Poole of Ashdown; a sister, Pam Bohannon McElyea of Nashville, and a sister Cindi Brown (Charlie) of Belton, Texas. His pride and joy, those grandbabies, Khloe (Khlobug) and Addison (Addi Mae) Brewer of Nashville, Gage, Gatlin, Gunner, and Grayson Kinkade all of Nashville; Nichole, Connor, and Hunter Poole all of Ashdown, along with two great-grandchildren, Riggin and Swayze from Ashdown. Last but definitely not least, a cousin, a brother/sister, best friends, Tim and Trisha Young … his angels here on earth. Too many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends to mention.

Above all, Charles Wayne loved the Lord and his church. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Texarkana and served in the church choir. He loved to fish and hunt. He loved riding his Harley with his buddies. He was always tinkering on something in his shop. He loved being outdoors. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was always there when you needed help. He never met a stranger. To know him was to love him.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, with Gary Glover officiating.

Honorary pallbearers: Jade McElyea, Dakota McElyea, Tim Young, Kenny Reeves, Scott Lovelis, Cole Goodwin.
