James âJTâ Taylor Green, 54, of Hope, died Monday, Oct. 27, 2025. Born Jan. 13, 1971, in Hope and raised in Saratoga.
He was a member of Corinth First Baptist Church in Mineral Springs.
Survivors include: his wife, Lois Green; his mother, Erma Jean Green; his son, Taylor James Turner of Fort Worth, Texas; stepchildren, Maurice Johnson, Jr., of Hope, Chonnel Johnson of Hope, and Duana Tidwell of Jacksonville, Fla.; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday, Nov. 7 at M&H Memorial Chapel in Hope, and the funeral was Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Rising Baptist Church in Hope. Burial followed in Camp Springs Cemetery in Columbus.
