Thomas Wofford (at right) is on the job as the animal control officer for the “inter-local” animal control department serving Nashville, Dierks, Murfreesboro, Mineral Springs, Prescott and Washington. With Wofford is Nashville Alderman Herbert Turley, who is also a partt-ime employee of the animal control department; longtime assistant Suzanne Gathright remains with the department.
