The Howard County Farmers Market will host a flu shot clinic this Friday, September 19, with Power Pharmacy on site to provide vaccinations.
Shots will be available during market hours, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the pharmacy accepts all major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
It’s a convenient way to shop local and take care of your health at the same time.
Last week’s market offered fresh eggs, honey, muscadines, okra, and a colorful assortment of peppers. Shoppers also enjoyed homemade baked goods, jams and canned items, soaps, and other handmade products.
The market runs every Friday through September from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 110 S. Washington St. in Nashville, before shifting to fall hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in October.
