
Troy McCullough, age 87 of Langley, Ark., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025, in Hot Springs. He was born April 3, 1938, to the late John T. McCullough and Delia Mae Cornish McCullough.
Troy was a member of the Cypress Baptist Church in Bossier City, La. He was Nathan native and played football for the Nashville Scrappers. He and his twin brother, Coy, were well-known running backs for the team. He spent his working career working for Conagra as a hatchery manager. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid outdoorsman. He had a green thumb and enjoyed working in his garden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jennie Lou Turley McCullough and seven siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory include his two sons and daughter-in-law, Steve McCullough and Scott McCullough and Angela; one brother, Reeder McCullough; eight grandchildren, Taylor McCullough, Anna Hamilton, Mandy Duncan, Natalie McCullough, Macy McCullough, Katherine Jones, Robert Muñoz and Jennifer Muñoz; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held for Mr. McCullough at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, in the Latimer Funeral Chapel in Nashville.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
