
Sammy Dale McAdams, age 70 of Ashdown, Ark., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, in Texarkana. He was born on Sept. 15, 1954, in Texarkana to the late Joe Robert McAdams and Helen Marie Sanders McAdams.
Dale was a member of the church of Christ. He enjoyed reading, finding treasurers with his metal detector and watching Razorback basketball. His passion was researching history and participated in some reenactments.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory include: his daughter and son-in-law, Kara Warner and Stacy of Ashdown; special friend, Vickie McAdams; brother and sister-in-law Johnny Ray McAdams (Terry) of Grandbury, Texas; Sisters and brothers-in-law Cheryl McJunkins (Joe) of Saratoga, Ark., Dawn Forthman (Mike) of Arkadelphia, Ark., and Rorie Hinds (Shane) of Fouke, Ark.; three grandchildren, Ethen, Peyton and Ava Warner; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
A funeral service for Mr. McAdams will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, in the Latimer Funeral Chapel in Nashville with Jimmy Dale Fincher officiating. Interment will follow in Saratoga Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
