The Nashville Scrapper Back-to-School Bash will be Friday, Aug. 8, at Scrapper Stadium.
Gates will open at 6:45 p.m.
Athletes participating in fall sports will be introduced at 7:15 p.m., including golf, cross country and tennis.
Stadium announcer Johnny Wilson will welcome the crowd at 7:25, followed by the National Anthem.
Nashville Junior High Scrappers will scrimmage at 7:30.
Senior Scrappers will have a meet and greet throughout the stands.
More introductions will follow the junior high scrimmage, including seventh grade football, junior high cheer, junior high band and junior high football.
America 250, the national observance of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, will follow.
Senior high football players will enter the stands carrying flags.
Wilson will explain America 250.
Afterward, Wilson will introduce high school cheer, band and football.
Head Coach Brad Chesshir will speak after players are introduced.
Following Chesshir’s speech, everyone will sing the NHS Alma Mater.
Junior and senior high bands and cheerleaders will perform before the high school scrimmage concludes the evening.
The concession stand will be open.
